Video Cameras
I'm looking to get into to some high-level video-ing...I'm going to need a fair good camera to use. I'll need one with a sharp picture. Well basically I haven't got a clue what I need, just that the videos I make are going to need to look really good. Price range of a few hundred quid, I'm purposefully being vague because if there's a good enough camera, I'll save to get it :P Any suggestions? If it works, it's valid.

for broadcast quality you are nowhere near the price range for cheapies my video and film pals recommend sony mini dv handicams. due to the far superior optics and low price. the competition have better specs but apparently that's no good when the glass is shite. i have a Sony DCR-HC47 Handycam Mini Dv Camcorder for videos of babies.. no complaints. also look for a mic input.. the crap sound and camera noise is an instant give-away of a cheap camera.. if you got the input to can get a proper mic. |

I've just been using a Panasonic VDR-D150 for a school project, it's my chemistry teachers' cam, and it's quite useful, so this is why I am looking to get my own. The panasonic doesn't have very good quiality whilt indoors, which is where most of the filming will take place. But anyway, thanks again for the links. If it works, it's valid.
