Just got this new printer in the office, and am trying to print an InDesign 12 pg booklet on 11 x 17 paper. Having quite some trouble right now, but the printer supplier is supposed to help tomorrow.

Just wondering if anyone uses this printer, and can offer some tips.

Thanks!

Load paper, click print?

What problems are you having? You've installed drivers for the printer and selected it from page set-up menu, right?

Lol, funny.
I'm having troubles printing a brochure. 11 x 17 double sided folded and stapled in the middle. End result is pages printed at 8.5 x 11 size, two on an 11 x 17. Right now I've finally gotten it to print mostly correct. The only issue is that my duplexed page prints upside down. So, I'm thinking I may need to change a setting, or am I supposed to put the duplexed page upside down in InDesign in my layout? I'm very new to this, obviously.

Thanks

The answer to my problem is... mirror the duplexed page to the side that runs first.

Also, if anyone has any general tips, or comments on cool and interesting projects they've run with this printer.. I'd love to hear them.

Thanks!

I also said I was new at InDesign. I just opened the program for the 2nd time ever today.... and I don't work in a design office so there is no one to ask. Maybe once I get up to 3k posts I'll be as educated as you.
