Got my eyes on an Epson R300m which I'll probably be buying sometime next week to suppliment my trusty (and still reasonably worthy) HP Deskjet 940c.

Most appealing R300m features are bluetooth, six individual colours, cd printing, edge to edge A4 and the ability to preview, edit and print directly from digital cameras as well as a hefty range of flash-type media.
Seems a good SoHo unit with outstanding photo quality output.

got a Brother 5040 laser for b&w stuff
http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/produc...affiliateid=95

and an Epson Stylus Photo 900 for not so b&w stuff

Gave up on the one-printer route due to constant fucking around with settings and the painfully slow print speed of inkjet.

Got a Canon i865.

Uses 5 dye based ink cartridges so photo printing is excellent and it has a separate tray for loading up 4" x 6" photo paper. Printing direct onto CDs is pretty cool too...

I bought a printer once, went to refill it, costs more than the printer. Gave up.
