I bought an emac back when I was starting out a college, it saw my through my college years nicely but quickly became clogged up with crap and started to run like a slug. The same is true of the imac that I have at work.

Thats why when I went for a new machine I built a pc, because you know when it starts to seem a bit decreped you can start over, by a new hard drive and be back to running on a capable machine again.

Thats the thing I dont like about the imacs is the fact that everything has been shoehorned into a tiny little box and gives you no options aside from new ram to update your machine
