As above. Recommendations for good home use colour printers please.
Buying as a gift so should use reasonably priced consumables.

I got picked up one of these:

Canon UK - PIXMA iP4300

for about 60 or so quid from Argos. A black cartridge was around a tenner (Canon original, not refilled), it prints on CDs/DVDs and the quality is pretty decent for a sub 100 quid printer.

I've got the ip4200 – excellent A4 printer, great results, dual input, print optical media etc, only downer is the expensive micro-chipped inks.
