Hey guys, I already have one of the monitors in the title, and noticed my graphics card has an extra output. After reading many blog posts about dual monitors, increasing real estate space, and increasing productivity, I am really wanting another.

is there anything I should know/do before I get another monitor?? Any pitfalls to watch out for?? Any advice or reasonings why i shouldn't get another monitor??

Nothing that'll catch you out with a second monitor. Just go for it. Double check your video card definitely supports dual screens but apart from that, you're apples...

Most of the the modern GFX cards have normal VGA out and a DVI out, i use dual works just fine. couldnt live without dual monitor to be honest!
