Buying a Mac

I really want one, would it be worth doing the pay monthly think on the apple site?

Has anyone done it before?

Not likely - it's 14.9% APR.

Simple tip. You can get a credit card with 0% interest on balance transfers for one year. Search around - Barclaycard had this offer a few months ago.

So, apply for 2 credit cards. Pay for the Mac with credit card 1. Then transfer the balance to credit card 2 (the one with the 0% deal). Instant interest free loan.

Indeed. If you can't wait, you can get a much better deal with a credit card than a credit agreement.
