Somebody here has brought their laptop from UK but forgot to bring an adapter for the mains plug. I can't find an adapter here very easily that changes from UK to German plug (other way round no problem). So my question is; do all laptops have the same power input rating and plug shape? In other words, would one laptop mains cable fit any laptop?

Quick answer needed as the battery is low.

wouldnt risk it.. did it with my mobile once

Problem solved. I don't need an adapter at all. Just one of those cheapo mains cables that are used for radios etc. That plugs into the transformer.

You can all sleep peacefully again.
