ipods work via usb2 as weel these days dont they? or you could just buy a firewire card for a few quid.

Mini ipods are actually much more appealing in the flesh than on paper. Saw one the other day and they are very cute. You just need to find someone going to the states and slip 'em some cash to get you one... only 140 quid or so

iPod every time. I've got a 20Gb and it's fantastic especially with the new in-ear phones.

Save up and go for a 15Gb - 10x the storage capacity of that Muvo which, frankly, looks a bit naff.

You will not be disappointed!

I recently decided i'll buy myself an mp3 player, looked around alot at prices and specs and I eventually came up with a great buy.

Creative Labs Rhomba 256mb is what I bought from amazon.co.uk for £109.99 which is very cheap compared to £159.99 from Creative themselves. Anyways the specs are amazin, not only is it a mp3 player it also plays WMA and FM radio aswell. up to 16 hours of audio you can record using the built in microphone for those quick notes you need to take.

Also its simply a drag and drop thing when transfering the files from comp to player through the USB.

The only downfall i found for this mp3 player was that you have to charge it up via a computer unless you buy the plug charger for something like £17.

^^^^^^^Link to it^^^^^^^^

All in all an amazin bargin.

ipod

hmm, £109 for 256meg compared with £299 for 20gig, doesnt really compare surely?

and yes ipod is firewire or usb2 but usb is crap anyway for file transfer, still slower on average than firewire.

yea i know what you mean, but really to be honest, if you are just wanting to listen to music while you travel, I have 44 songs on mine. No where near the amount i can get on. This is because I only listen to around 4-5 songs maximum while traveling untill I reach where i'm going. It's really down to the fact of what you actually want.

A wel just thought i'd share the mp3 player i've bought with you all as I love it and its perfect for me
