Nice machine - we have a few of these in our studio. Make sure you put plenty of RAM in it if you are going to run OS X on it though - it will be sluggish if you don't......

I run a 450Mhz G4 (single processor) with 768 Mb RAM at home and it isn't too bad so I wouldn't worry about it too much mate, especially if your only using it as a test bed.

With or without VAT that comes in the same as Jigsaw without VAT... of course your probably registered so VAT smat I guess.

As far as I know you should just be able to install it straight from the disks through your OS 9 Desktop. If you can't do it straight from the OS 9 desktop insert the first OS X disk and hold down C on restart to boot directly from the disk. Then "follow the on screen instructions"

I thnk that's what your asking anyway.

No need to hold down C - just pop in the disk, double click the installer and it'll restart. Then its just a case of following the on-screen instructions and waiting patiently.

In the time it takes to install you could make a cup of tea or browse your jazz mag collection or summut.

No probably not, but I've heard he's pretty quick when he gets into his rhythm. He could knock at least 3 out in the time it takes to install.

youre right you know, i just checked my OS9 apps folder and there it is.

Well, i cant remember if Jaguar comes with an OS9 install (I think it may) then chances are theres a copy there.

I dont think it was ever downloadable was it? My install is 175meg so i doubt it.

It came on a disc when I bought my iMac. When I get back off holiday I'll have a dig around and see if I still have it somewhere.
