force 9 have been very good. very cheap and monthly contract. really can't complain about the speed and reliability of service, not dropped out in 12 months.

i use Eclipse -think they were voted best business BB supplier last year or summut, costs about 22 a month, no problems with them (about 12 months now). Before that was with Blueyonder - had about half a dozen noticable outages in a couple of years, nowt major tho.

"Eclipse Internet finished 2003 as the UK's fastest ISP, according to the December speed test results from ADSL Guide.

Eclipse finished last year in second place, but overtook long-time leader Nildram in the middle of last year to establish itself as the provider of the fastest 512K ADSL connection.

Eclipse and Nildram (recently joined by Zen Internet) have been pushing 512K to its limits for some time, as demonstrated by the fact that the top speed for December 2003 represented an increase of just 1.5 per cent in 12 months. But across the board performance has increased more significantly as other ISPs catch up. In December 2002 AOL and Freeserve shared tenth place with an average downstream speed of 404Kbps. A year later BT Openworld/YahooBB claimed the same spot with a 422.5Kbps average, an increase of 4.6 per cent. Average upstream speeds increased by slightly more."
