Macbook Pro Is Now 64 Bit..

They have gone core2... so glad i waited!... ordered!! class..
you can have up to 3 gb RAM!

don't know much about intel processors, but I thought they would of included "64bit" somewhere in the sales pitch?

Personally, I'd wait until OSX 10.5 is released.

But still, what a beast.

I just don't do anything intensive enough to justify the power.

Not from Apple although I believe they're doing some refurbished ones and I bet you can pick up a G5 powermac from any number of apple centres around the country as old stock. I've seen quite a few on ebay going for considerably more than a brand new Mac Pro.

OS X 10.5 is out spring next year
