I got a single 1GB stick from crucial and had no problems.

Only have 1.5gb in at the moment and everything runs fine.

And what a waste that turned out to be!

"OH NOES! THE BALLSACK WITH TENTACLES HAS GOT ME AGAIN! OH NOES! AND AGAIN!"

Should've stuck with Shadow of the Beast.

I'm waiting on 2Gb of this to come back from the shop. Just upgraded to a Core2Duo so had to get some DDR2, decided to make an occasion of it and go for some 800Mhz low latency. Unfortunately, one of the modules was knackered so I had to send them back for a replacement. Which meant going out to PC World to pick up 512Mb of cheap crap 533Mhz rubbish to keep my PC just barely alive until the decent stuff comes back.
