Powerbook/Vaio z1 owners

I'm maybe looking to upgrade to a powerbook ,or other funky laptop, to take out to client meetings etc.

We're largely pc based, with macs used for testing, and in the past have used sony vaio laptops (and found them to be excellent) & are also considering the Sony Vaio z1 laptop.

Now this may sound a bit nancy boy, but we want something that has real fcuk off/wow value and I just wondered if anybody owns either of the above laptops and how they're getting on with 'em

Got a PowerBook - it has 100 times more WOW! factor than any Vaio I've seen.

I get on just fine with my PowerBook - we rarely argue and I think it's fair to say I have her under my thumb.

An etcha-sketch might encourage some of my clients to fiddle. Not to worry though - it'll be like showing fire to cavemen...they'll be so confused it'll make them run away.

i have a small chrome [ Toshiba Portege ]

i think they look quite nice. girls think they're pretty. damn powerful too. a mate of mine uses a vaio and claims it is a bunch of arse. flimsy, unreliable and needs reinstalling to keep it running smoothly. i too require a pc and would not look at a mac, purley b'cos all my software is licenced for pc.

for wow! - why not try a [ tablet ]

I suggest going to a shop and looking at them side-by-side and then making your own mind up. They're all going to be pretty decent machines.....
