What kind of system would you buy with that?

desktop publishing, video rendering, burning DVDs, web publishing -- it needs to have legs for 2 years, so should I wait until everything is 64 bit?

guys -- PC -- not Mac.... (no bias, just that macs aren't compatible with the network environment here at work)

i thought that was part of t's genius. recommending a g5 as the ultimate pc environment.

I guess I could plug my powerbook G$ into the network and see what happens to it when the Lan guys send out an IE security patch..
