There's a lot to be said for interactive states. Some of those are overboard. Lovely site all the same.

Its very confusing that site, id be worried about making something like that as an agency.

Not easy to tell who they are and what they do.

It's obviously very slick and well crafted though

I disagree. The interactivity made it engaging.

Eh, I guess maybe it's because I'm on a 27', but I just found it disorienting and unfocused.

Sure I played around with parts of it, but it was mainly to see "what's the point of this" not "let's interact with this to get some information." And then when I was shown information I really didn't know what I was looking at.

yeah same, quite an expensive way to relay that information where a simple graphic would have probably been more effective.

Just looked like alot of meaningless numbers to me, the descriptions of graphics are quite small so you are left wondering what they are supposed to mean

I agree. So much motion just for the sake of motion. So much effort was put into making it pretty and engaging and not on conveying the info. But it sure is pretty.

Is no one else getting the 404 video not found on pretty much every page? My divx plugin doesn't like that site at all.

Overall it's interesting and a departure from the norm, and maybe this says more about me than the general public, but I still prefer a web page that I can navigate easily, that loads quickly and doesn't play music at me the second I load it.

Interesting use of the technology, the Eiffel tower picture reminded me of something teapoted would do (not really sure why... but it did) but as an every day use website it doesn't work. Then I suppose it's not an every day use website is it?

What you prefer doesn't matter though, from a design standpoint. The site has a purpose, it suits its purpose. I mean that in terms of "departing from the norm." It does that because it's more important for you to remember the site and have a unique experience rather than it being simple and functional.

That's the problem with the infographic, it's not fit for purpose.

Yup agreed. If it were a site like IMDB or the Yellow Pages where I was needing to get information out of it regularly I'd be calling it complete shit, but for what it's designed for it's suitable. I sort of alluded to that feeling with my last comment of my previous post.

For the record I do think it's cool, it's just slow at first and the 404's on every page suck.
