Creative Web Designers
Found this while surfing the web... blueion They put together some pretty cool sites. I enjoyed the hookusa.com site they did--even though it was a bit difficult to navigate at first. I clicked on a little book in the background area called "rules" which held some nice little tidbits of advice - which i though was nice. ![]() Enjoy. |

What's orginal about it, I've seen hundreds of sites like that before. The logo and presentation is very dated. Looks like something from the gloriously shit Flash years. ie "lets make everything look sci-fi and twinkle and shine, forget about the content, it's about making our site look space age." |

I think it's lovely. Look how clear all that text is. Even those people with eyesight problems, such as colour blindness, will have no trouble viewing this delightful design. It even validates. If only all websites were built like this. |

Meh, I'm really not impressed. Generic "look how slick we are" Flash, tiny fonts, and that annoying "flicker" effect when navigating between options. Yeah, the hookusa site has a nice little front-page, with floaty graphics, but the navigation is still pretty clumsy. It's a good example, though, of layers of shine on top of lacklustre content (I tried reading the content in the bottom-right box and all I got was marketing jargon) |
