I should have been clearer with my first post. I meant that originally it would have been made in a 3D app then imported into flash for menus interactivity etc.

Actually the whole island isnt built with a 3d-engine. they really built a real life model in about 4 metres diameter and filmed all the shots with a camera. than, of course, postproduction in after effects, e.g. the water...

in my opinion one of the best sites of 2007.
