While page loads the text is aliased :



Once it loads its anti aliased, this in ie 6 - I have cleartype and anti-aliasing turned off.. Its still text though and selectable

possibly using javascript to alter the display quality attribute in the markup once loading has completed.

that's just a slightly-educated guess

got it , after a bit of delving : He uses a javascript to swap his h1 tags for a flash file. Cunning.
