It's actually horrible and the tall broadsheet format used by some US papers is also impractical. Two words for the WSJ - white space. In Scandinavia, newspaper publishers participate annually in the five nation "Best Front Page" competition. Finland's Helsingin Sanomat wins regular awards. Me too, today's is not a great example but The Independent is often nicely put together. |
