We were looking at Tokyo Plastic the other day at uni. It won the Flash Forward 3D category last year. Very nice.

We have to create a user experience. I hate flash. We have to become friendly soon.

Any tips on teaching yourself flash fast please? What should I concern myself with and what can I not bother with? [Sorry for the hijack!]

get a base understanding of animation and actionscript, as long as you can understand the flash actionscript hierarchy and automatic data conversion you should be ok I think...

oh, and try not to use any Adobe products while you're learning, the supremely more intuitive workflow of Adobe products will make you hate flash so-much more if you're jumping back and forth whilst learning it.

My new book quota is up for the time being. I have the friends of ed foundation actionscript book and I think I'll just work through the actionscript.org tutorials for now.

I'll no doubt be back asking questions soon.
