PDF Mail Shot??

HI everyone, I have just been asked to do a two page mail shot for customer of mine. Although I reckon I can get through this brief I would like some input on any tips or little tricks you guys may know, involving PDFs?? to make this brief as impressive as possible.
Any input would be grateful,

Assuming it's email use HTML, if it's regular mail, print it.
