Hello,

I'd like to know what you can include in a brand identity pack. So far, I have:

• Logo
• Business cards
• Mascot
• Web site template

What else? Also, I'd like to know what format of vector graphics is the most popular for printable media. Thanks!

I would of thought of Letter head and compliment slip before a mascot or website tbh.

Thanks! What format do you think is the best for the logo? (Illustrator, Corel Draw, etc...). What about for the compliment slip? (InDesign, Corel Draw, etc...). BTW, it's "I would have thought", not "I would of thought"

Lay out things like that in InDesign or Quark I suppose, I dunno, I'm not a designer - just using my common sense! Perhaps you should give it a go sometime instead of asking silly questions so you can be spoon fed the answers little by little.

I would personally start with the logo, get that right first. Then i'd apply that logo and style to letterheads, comps slips and business cards. Website will come afterwards.

Create your logo as a vector using in Illustrator - you can also do this in InDesign.

I would personally do the vector logo in Illustrator and copy the vector over to InDesign and use InDesign to layout the artwork (simply Apple+C in Illustrator, then open up a new document in InDesign and Apple+V - or control+v for PC).

I would deliver the artwork as a PDF, make sure you convert all text to outlines to avoid problems with fonts. Find out from the printers if they require bleed on the artwork (most do) and if they have a particular PDF setting they use get them to send it you so you can save your PDFs to these.

When delivering the artwork for print talk to your printers get them to give you as much info as you need. Get a good relationship with them, the more work you put their way the more favours you get in return.

Create a logo, business card, letterhead and comp slip in that order. Dunno where you got the idea for having a Mascot?
If your creating a brand identity pack then your only just getting started. you need variations of logos, font styles, page formatting, colour palettes etc etc. you got a long way to go pal.

... and dont correct people's spelling mistakes. your just inviting a big mother of a put down.
