Extent of wedding invitations?

I was thinking of using this envelope:

With a card stock invitation inside about .5" smaller than over all envelope.

My question is what should I include?

Invitation Envelope
Invitation it self
---
Response Card
Response Envelope
---
Seperate Reception Card
---

My question is the additional envelope neccesary or do you think its tacky to not include an envelope? Same goes for reception card. I could put the reception info on the main invitation itself.

Curious of everyones layout ideas.

Do the response card as a pre-addressed postcard, then they only need to pop it in a postbox - the response envelope is unnecessary, and its perfectly good manners.

Also, it's considered polite to put a stamp on the response card, so they don't have to buy one.

Edit: Are you considering the black envelope/ribbon? It's very funereal don't you think?

I agree about the black envelope ribbon idea hehe. I was just using the pics to show the size I am thinking about. I will be uploading some designs in the future. The wedding is earthy greens with light pinks, probably will use this in the color scheme
