what's that tool in photoshop?...

I don't know what it's called but what's the tool in photoshop that makes your paths drawn with pen tools like different patterns and spots, and adds like a pressure effect?

OK, to elaborate, say I have drawn an open path with the pen tool, and I want to stroke the path. I remember there being some little window that lets me make it all fancy and has lots of options, but just pressing the storke path button doesn't work on open paths for some reason.

I think what you're talking about is actually the brush menu, all the features you mentioned are in there, so when you stroke a path with a brush all those things will be applied to the stroke.

yeah, and remember, you should still be on the brush tool when you actually click the stroke button.
