Ok!

Anyway the text is all too big in my opinion, and I've never really liked ranged right. If you're going to keep your logo so big, it would be better to give it some room to breathe and set the type much smaller and tighter. All ranged left. And not so close to the edges!

cheers coops

with you on the ranged right.

the size is big do to the crap quality of the stock and that it will be either screened or potato printed... though i my try guillotining the card and running it through a single colour litho press... if i can remember how to operate it.

the text is close to the edge simply, well.. because i can. As i will be hand trimming the job

Like the recycling idea - would be nice to letterpress to really keep it real! Maybe you could strip the info back and leave the address off? Dunno. Not sure if anybody actually needs the address on cards these days.

did have that conversation about the office.. feel we should to put the address as we are moving. try to drum it into clients that we are no longer at the old address.

will run a few versions though as we have loads of room on the plate/screen/potato

bin meaning to buy a letterpress. but just keep sneaking into printers to use their old rattley AB Dick litho press

* that's not me

Fair enough. It's quite a bit of info to fit onto one side though innit? Especially since you're screenprinting or whatever. Can't you do a nice separate moving card on corrugated cardboard as well, then leave the address off your card? The cardboard moving card's been done before, but it fits with your recycling ethic...

Mmm … Frosties.

Do Good: Shouldn't the 'graphic designer' part of your card be more prominent?

I like the idea of using recycled card, but your design is a bit too cluttered. I would get rid of the address they can find that out when they call you or go on your website. Where are you going to source all the card from, especially if your printing a large batch of cards. One box of cereal is a few quid for a dozen cards and im guessing you would want some varied designs.

we use hardly any business cards. i use about five a month at best! one cereal packet will last me a while... at least until stephens kids consume the contents of the next print run. If we go litho i will have do a whip around folks and collect any large packaging with a similar gsm to cereal packets.

we printed our old stationery on normal stock piecemeal - worked out very well for us. no waste at all.

i still have 8000 cd inserts and @5000 letterheads from our old business.
