How is this flyer?

It needs to be done by tomorrow afternoon. Can you give me any feedback?

I don't like it, the typography (really bad), the contrasting images (bitmaps / vectors) It's not working for me.

Childsplay - could do a lot with that than what you currently have.

I'll sort out the typography and I will add the phone number today. Where do you think it should go?

Do you really need three different typefaces? Set the "copy" in Avant Garde or Futura and it won't look so anti-undisorganised. And it might look better in white, not black. Try it!
Put the phone number in the sentence itself "give us a call on 123-4567 and we'll make..."

I agree the black doesn't sit right on the blue background. Try darkening that blue and changing the text to white. Or lightening the blue and keeping the text black.

as others have said. the type is laking. spend a bit of time reseting it.

- turn off the paragraph hyphenation. (see: furn-
iture)

- sort the "quote" so the " is facing the right direction. (usually by turning on smart quotes)

other than the type it is OK for what it is. The picture (as ever) would be 100% better if it was professionally taken.

Oh. shouldn't childsplay be the heading? If 'the finished article' is the company putting together the event the norm might be to have their name small in the bottom right.

post post post. i can't get enough of posting today.

on my screen there's very little difference between the green of the plant illys and the grass background. perhaps pick out the illys in a slightly lighter shade.

Looks better than the original yeah, type still could do with a few little things. Try opening it all up (the tracking).

The 'of our world' bit and the paragraph beneath is annoying me. Try having 'a colourful mini blah blah' below the welcome text.

Then rearrange 'childsplay' and the 'the finished article' text.

Grass is awful. Grab a high res jpeg from istock and work on that, mouse-brush drawn grass never looks good.

There is no hierarchy on that text. I have no idea what it is about, nothing grabs my attention. Why three fonts?

Try Bello or Sauna for fonts from Underware. Or Cooper Black.

It's dull and unfriendly overall though, and I assume you were after the opposite effect. Sorry.
