I have to redesign a site to convey the emotion of the company's brand image. The adjectives to best describe the company is: - Fun, not mainstream (underground), laid back, creative, hip Does anyone have any suggestions on layout, color, pictures, sounds, features, or anything else that can help express these emotions? |

it is all about colors of how you can get the eyes to move across the page of a site, it you can get your viewers eyes to scroll across the page with ease it will make them calm and happier, make the site SIMPLE and it will convery a better mood, for colors i would choose a primary color and it will convey hip, modern. a color that is BOLD will stand out making it more hip, and sounds NO SOUNDS, i would try and avoid sounds if at all possible, if you MUST use sounds then think of something like silent rain drops or a classical melody, but make the db level -6dbs and go from there, it needs to be quite for EVERYONE, not distracting. |

Very good answer. Fun and laid-back don't mean sloppy, either! Good typography makes me calm and happy. My free fonts www.utfi.net
