yep ta mik, just found it is ITC Officina Sans Book. Anyone know where I can get it for free of for much less than $30

You won't be able to get a legit copy for free.
It's also highly unlikely that you'll find a reseller flogging it for <$30.

It's only $21 from MyFonts.com. Mind you that is only for the single weight.

I normally buy body fonts in families rather than single weights, but still, I'm quite surprised how cheap a single weight goes for.

So what happened to sans?

What other weights did you get for your $22?
The link you gave (serif?) doesn't seem to mention any additional weights (for that price)
