Online sticker shop layout - Criticize

Hi all, I'm new to this forums (although I've browsed them many times) and I'd like to read your comments on the layout of the website I'm currently developing for a customer.

Specifically look at category menu (now it lacks subcategories, but they'll appear below its parent category when clicked) and tell me what do you think. I'm looking for some advice on how to make category menu clearer to the user, because now I think it's not clear enough that it's a menu that relates to the content (catalog entries) on its right. I'm thinking on getting rid of button labeled 'CATEGORIAS', or at least the label, because category menu will always be shown (I could hide it when you're on non-catalog-related pages, i.e. company info and so on... dunno).

Thanks in advance.

PD: It's still a greyscale draft. I'll paint it when customer approves it

Standard (non web) convention is to use elipses, for example

Drawings
Car Logos...

Drawings has no submenu, Cars does. Another way is a menu like icon or an arrow (down). This convention is used in most browsers, for example the Back or Forward buttons -- those arrows are for dropdown menus.

Thanks for the tip, D.

I've just made a new version of the layout. I think now it's clearer and more estructured than before. I still have to polish some details, like menu text font, which I don't like so much (it does the job, though ).

I'd appreciate your feedback on this.

I don't know why fireworks saves plain PNG with loss of quality compared with the other... if anybody knows it will be great.

There's the new version, colour added. I've been playing with several orange-red hues and I've come to this.
Elements are painted in three different brands, what do you think it's the most appropiated?
Also, do you have any recommendation about it? I intend to focalize users' view in catalog elements.

Thanks for the comments.

getting better, but the big orange part is too flat looking. Also, the logo at the top could use some more character.

The last version is the best, but stil it is not very good, I think that if you`ll not change the design, you won`t atract clients.
