Any ideas on what might be the hot colors? ...Is it Web 2.0 -- all cliches, all the time? ....Something new on the horizon?

What do you forecast, or maybe just hope for?

Analog again. Italicised serifs. Coloured paper. Printed material, fuck for screen. Back to basics, fuck shit drawing on purpose, overlay, full page photos, newsprint, helvetica neu condensed extra bold capitalised, shit photographs scanned in, bound, sewn, drinking photos, fuck polaroids; think disposable, nationstate/flags, fuck photoshop right off, filters out; photocopier contrast in, white on white, cyrillic, communicate through illegibility, formula, and fat block type with the holes filled in is dead. Pixel Art is wank. Skill is back in fashion. Drinking lots and forecasting design trends is hot.

Would love to see a back to basics Bauhaus style going on. Clean lines, sharp text and great typography.
