ok, comments on this logo will be great

Want the design to reflect colorfullness, creativity, and the general idea of a small world. The name says it all i guess, but what do you guys think?

Personaly i wouldnt usually use these colors, but meh, the client wants a colorfull, creative logo for 'the miniture earth'

Hmm, didn't see the link when I posted.
Looks good. Would've thought earthy colours would better suit.

No, they are an invironmentalist society, that wantto start by helping people realise importance of our world and how small it is, compared to how fasr resources are being consumed and so on...

they sent me a jpg of their site, it's more or less ALL in black and white, hence why they wanted colorful ogo, for more emphasis i think?
I just sent them logo like 2hours ago, hope they like it, if so they will be using it shortly and i will show you guys

but yeah, ill do it in black and white and see how it looks, thanks for that comment!

hmmm... ok! i understand but the simplicity of black and white i believe is more global. Personally i think random colours for this creates confusion with a beautifully simple idea.

also having it in black and white leaves it open for future single colorization for one spot printing. Think about print costs!!!.. and by adding strange rainbow colours you're also branding the logo/company with those colours forever

I re-did it and sent it now, the client is with me via IM and they like the second version better !

I will post it as soon as they have agreed to use it.

EDIT: well they loved the second design, so much so they are implementing it in their site and intro to their mini movie as we speak...damn am lucky to have posted this here lol

Thanx a lot to cocknose for his help, just for the record, the logos intro in the movie will be changed again soon, it's justtheir to replace the old one.

Great logo. Better in black + white because of everything cocknose said and because the added simplicity fits their message.
