ok so i want to do graphics design at hertfordshire and im not sure whether i should. reasons to go: 1. not realli realli far from home 2. good ethnic mix of people..so ive herd.. 3. doesnt require definate foundation course in art and design reasons not to: 1. nobody ever mentions it and im not sure how good the course is.. ok and then i have the rest of the uni's: 1. kingston 2. london met 3. middlesex 4. coventry 5. leeds (yes i no its realli good...so no info needed on this one) so could u people realli help me out and tell me wat u no abt thses uni's coz im doing an art and product design a-level and realli just want to get onto a degree and skip the foundation corse! THANKSxxxx |

Seems pretty straight forward to me, just go see them all and see which one you prefer. Its always useful not being a million miles away especially when you have to hawl all your crap home but I wouldnt say its a priority for making a decision. |

ok i aplogise for my awful spelling...i was just feeling lazy... and i will go visit...but it always nice to have other peoples input first before i waste a day going to some uni that is crap..(sorry for the swearing..do you count crap as swearing?) and wasting a day from school. so inputs please? |

I did art / design / photography for A-Levels and can honestly say that A-levels are no equal to a good foundation course, thats why the majority of Uni's require one. Apart from that, a foundation is cracking fun and is another year of student life to relish before you commence those 40 years of grind! |

ravensbourne i was looking at that uni too....hmm....seriously tho i just want to go to university, i dont think i could stand another year of art, i love it but i know what my strengths and weaknesses are and dont need another year of 'experimenting' to figure it out!...:S |
