Business Cards

I've been asked to have a look at our business card design, and was after some inspiration and/or pointers?

Anyone have any experience of business cards or know any good designs?

Cheers

James

Sorry for vagueness, I'm more interested in seeing if there's any inspiring business card design out there. Any urls (excluding WHSmiths etc ) are welcome.

Details:
For a company that provides: Marketing, Consulting & Software.

Existing business cards are "too boring"

Company uses a marble in its logo, and the colour yellow: F6DD3C

May as well have!

Me & a colleauge just spent the morning producing designs, going on the idea that the design was too bland and needed be more creative. Having presented the designs to The Boss, he choses the blandest, plainest, dullest, black text on white background design that could have been produced in Word in about 30 seconds!

Ah well ,that's what you get when the decision maker is a programmer I guess.

Hmm, don't think I'll lose any sleep over it.
I think I'll move on to other work for clients who'll be just as clueless, but at least they can be invoiced!
