Hi, Greenfruit it is my intention to create what i am doing in Illustrator so it is vector and potentially of more use then a photoshop file. Basically i was looking for references in order to make it look as authentic as possible. FYI - An easy an and effective PS tut http://www.xaraxone.com/webxealot/workbook03/page_3.htm Cheers feel the heat.

Hi Gigga - sorry not sure if i made myself clear enough - I'm not looking for a font (I have plenty) I'm looking for visual examples of how a stamp breaks up, for instance on the areas that have less pressure applied how solid is the colour, how much degridation is to much. This is a great example http://www.paramountclassics.com/companyman/ Just what to make sure that what i create looks authentic and not like this http://www.horton-stephens.com/image...g/tsl_logo.gif Cheers all feel the heat.

Go round your local shops and borrow there shop stamps. Most have 'em for cheques and the like, what could be better to see the degradation than a real stamp? or you can always buy ones with ponies and flowers on form partners |
