Just had a look. There's a whole bunch of these in -

65,000 Corel Gallery Magic

Two discs full of more or less usless clipart ( ) All vector. Good junk to invest in... you never know when you're gonna need it!

...and I call myself an illustrator?!?

doesnt take much to do this in Pshop, plus you get a better result.

bit of blurring, noise, reticulation filter etc, its easy

its a comment on intel.

i did think of turning it into an animated gif so morphs from "Intel" to "Little" but I couldnt be arsed.

It just occurs to me, does "Intel" derive from "Intelegence"? anyone know?

if you believed their advertising, alien greys use intel too. I would have thought theyd moved on if theyre capable of interstellar travel.

This thread seems to have been hijacked somewhat. sorry all.

Hi,

Greenfruit it is my intention to create what i am doing in Illustrator so it is vector and potentially of more use then a photoshop file. Basically i was looking for references in order to make it look as authentic as possible.

FYI - An easy an and effective PS tut http://www.xaraxone.com/webxealot/workbook03/page_3.htm

Cheers

Hi Gigga - sorry not sure if i made myself clear enough - I'm not looking for a font (I have plenty) I'm looking for visual examples of how a stamp breaks up, for instance on the areas that have less pressure applied how solid is the colour, how much degridation is to much.

This is a great example

http://www.paramountclassics.com/companyman/

Just what to make sure that what i create looks authentic and not like this

Cheers

Go round your local shops and borrow there shop stamps. Most have 'em for cheques and the like, what could be better to see the degradation than a real stamp?

or you can always buy ones with ponies and flowers on form partners
