PC to Mac Fonts?

Hi,

I've been buying some PC fonts lately... but I'm seriously considering jacking in the old black box for a shiny G5... Is there an app for Mac (other than Fontographer) that would convert True Type PC fonts to Mac format? Also, would I "legally" be allowed to do this? Or would the font police come beating at my door??

Ta,
Phil

Mac OS X already reads and understands the Windows TT font format natively.

They can be used just like any other mac format font (i.e. in the Fonts folder or with font management software such as Suitcase.)

Bloody great news!! I'm assuming they'll work fine in Photoshop/Freehand/Illustrator then??

The only thing is... I now need to find the money for a Mac... Damn things are so expensive!!

Cheers Bill!
