animatrix
watched them all the other night apart from the the illustration / graphic design which is bloody amazing, top notch - i now have the faintest of ideas about what the matrix trilogy is trying say I read the the story for the third film and i cant wait - sad really thought they were a bunch of kid films but they have grown on me or trinity has at least let the geekiness commence |

yah, reloaded, just like the first one, is worth *at least* a 2nd peek, I went the 2nd time cuz I had free passes from the first time (good game fire alarm, heh), and it made a lot more sense the 2nd time around... prolly would've went more but I didn't want to pay another $10...or $13.50 at the nice new theatre =\ |

Still not convinsed by the second one. But the Animatrix was very cool. Watched it the night before Reloaded, and found those animated shorts to be about 10 times as entertaining and interesting as the film. Exlored the idea of the matrix more, in a far more interesting way. And within 10mins I cared more about what happened to the characters than in hours of that film. Particually liked the ones where the matrix intruded into peoples perceived real lives - haunted house, athlete - they had something about them, a development and wonder in their lives. The trinity/detectiuve one looked really stylish too * The geekiness subsides for a time * |
