i think we have a couple of russian members... have you tried contacting them?
also - if I remember correctly (& I do) our member Zdenka has her blog in russian... maybe she even speaks the language ?!?

A fair place to start looking would be Luc Devroye's 'On Snot & Fonts' pages...

Fonts by language > Cyrillic

&/or...

Google: "free fonts" + cyrillic

So, 'ere ya go treas'...
...an' don't let me 'ere abou' you tellin' the uvver gels down the tannin' salon that I don't give you nuffin'.

Also, don't forget that Mac OS X can handle the Windows TTF font format natively, so you're not restricted to looking just for 'Mac fonts'.
