I am fully in favor of going to a university. No matter what your profession or degree. I went for fine art (Painting & Drawing particularly). Now, I'm working on translating those visual skills to self-taught web design/development. Going to school isn't just about getting a job or choosing a career - it's about mental maturity and cultural awareness (it's more about being a human being than about learning a skill set). It's learning for the sake of learning. Education is never a bad thing or a waste of time. |
