Yeh Pipex have just double their speeds for the same price and I think BT are doing it as well. Here's another NTL secret: Quote:

I'm on the 750 package now, so I get upgraded automatically.. Awesome. Now I can totally immerse myself in hardcore pornography |

what NTL say: "the upgrade is for new users only" "upgrades will be rolled out accross the country over this month for existing users" "300k users have to request their upgrade and won't be automatically upgraded" "300k users will now have a 3gig per month cap" <--wtf? at the moment I have a gig a day cap, but if I upgrade I will have a 100mb a day cap. nice1. How much traffic does playing CS source create? usual confused NTL bullshit then. |

3gig per month? are you sure they actually said that? that's usually a limitation you'd find on cheaper, lower-use tariffs... i'm on BY (telewest) and had two of these upgrades so far (512->1mb->1.5mb) |

I'm with Plus.net for my 512k ADSL. As of April all ADSL accounts will be 8mb! The only limit will be download bandwidth. My account which is £21.99 a month gives me 30gb 8am - 7pm per month and 230gb 7pm - 8am per month. That's a shit load of bandwidth. Jase

I'm guessing, due to the fact that most isp's are limiting monthly usage quite heavily, it's down to a change in the way they're being billed by BT. |

If you haven't been with them for the minimum contract term (usually 12 months) they might ask for the rest of the contract to be paid up. Luke Redpath .::. Software Engineer .::. Reevoo - Real Reviews From Real Customers
