anyone know any good sites with tutorials on hand made binding for journals etc

I'd suggest looking for night classes in your area though, i go to one in birmingham every wednesday, and there's no better way to learn - online tutorials aren't very helpful. And if youre intending to sew the book, with tapes and all, you're going to need sewing frames, calico, all this stuff that you'll have trouble finding.
