Purchasing an upgrade online..
I want to upgrade some Adobe software and have noticed that it works out considerably cheaper to download the upgrade rather then by on CD-rom from dabs or ebuyer. Anybody know of any issues with this? I had a quick trawl through the T's & C's but couldn't see anything. feel the heat.

best thing to do is to buy an early (licenced) edition on ebay or summat like that and then purchase the upgrade. the upgrade will probably want your previous product's registration code or search for a currently installed version. |

Basically its photoshop CS that I want to upgrade too (I know about time) - on ebuyer etc its £129.97 and on Adobe the download is US $169.00. I wanted to know if there is anything stopping me purchasing for the US price ie need to be a resident of US etc. FYI I have a legit copy of PS so nothing dodgy - just checking for any issues feel the heat.

Okay - I'm not after a Crack or any thing dogey I have a LEGIT copy of PS that I want to upgrade and noticed the download was much cheaper then buying a CD - I am very happy to pay as I have with all my software, I was simply looking if this was a cheaper option. As it happens you have to be in the US or Canada - when you log-in as I have to register my PS in the pass it uses the details you have provided (which of course would be my UK address) you are redirected to third party resellers. So no joy. Not sure you really want to broadcast the legitimacy of your software on a fourm though vega. feel the heat.
