you're asking for a lot - might be better off getting some brochures and scanning the logos in quite hires... my experience is that the bigger companies are usually not very cooperative when it comes to releasing vector versions of their logos... is that due to some sort of 'security policy'? ...

From working with some big companies/brands I found out that that isn't always the case - brand managers actively make logos available for general use to avoid shitty self-drawn ones being used. People like MTV, Apple, Shell Petrolium etc all do this. Most will also supply brand guidelines. |

you've been lucky - or i've been working for a shitty company naturally - any company aware of their (expenssive!?) corporate image should corporate on this. i think i got a brand guidelines sheet ONCE - that was a dream to work with! and that was also run by a different project manger. but... i'm out of this now. trying to convince people and repeat myself made me sick... and grumpy! bit like now ...

oh yeah they are damn useful. I used to do a lot for the beeb and obviously they have masses of different identities so its a nightmare keeping track of whats acceptable for which particular channel ident - thats where the guidelines become essential. |
