Sometimes it's so cold in Toronto it's like having an icecream headache which won't go away.
I couldn't frigging beleive it when I arrived last year, I thought the Gods were angry or something.

it's gonna be worth it though - can't wait for the summer to roll round again

Surely if it can freeze by the time it hits the floor then it must already be pretty cold by the time the cup has been filled.

yeah but dont that have to do with how all the molecules etc are all bunched together hence making a bigger surface area to freeze rather than when it is thrown where the surface area stretches and thins out making it a hell of alot more easier to freeze in such cold conditions. true story

It is....but -40C is still awfully cold... and a cup of hot water still wouldn't be able to do that much warmer than -30C I don't think. Regardless, it's an awfully impressive show :P
