My flat mate winning the finals in a UK poker tournament Saturday, and getting a trip Vegas paid for with a $15,000 entance fee to the world finals next year - for a chance of winning $1,000,000.

It was a pub league and 170 folks played at Cannons (next to London bridge) for the final. I am sure will hear more about it tonight.

Bless him, I think he is still on cloud nine. We played late Friday night too, and for the first time ever I had a royal flush virtually on the flop...

...kept it cool, got them hooked on the checks - then as I was about to go all in after on the river card - I dropped my King on the table. Hence to say they bailed out quicksharp.

Twas a bit of gambling weekend all round - went with my other flatmate to Ascot yesterday, picked up a couple of big outsiders EW's between us.
