Travel website

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone can help. I am looking at booking some tickets to go abroad and came across 2 websites that are almost identical in functionality. Out of curiosity does anyone know what engine these websites run on....as in it looks as though the information that the 2 websites provide are coming through another site.

Does anyone know where these sites link to?

citybond (dot co dot uk)
benztravel (dot co dot uk)

Many thanks,

Michael

I have no clue about those two sites, but I've built a site with a booking engine that was provided by a 3rd party API. This means that all the information shown came from another server, but to the user, they cannot see this as it all happens on the back end. So if the info seems like it's coming 'through another site', it may very well be.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Any ideas which 3rd party they are using? I had a quick look at the source code, but nothing stood out.

Thanks

There is usually no way of knowing, as it all happens on the back end.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Is anyone familiar with developing travel websites? I have also found that Asda Travel use the same database.

Any assitance would be much appreciated.

Thanks.
