I think it's heaven. (the place he finds) Simple, I know. And I don't think Burton is a complete freak. I thought Edward Scissorhands and Sleepy Hollow were well done, and Mars Attacks! was very underrated. He's also doing the new Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (link) starring Johnny Depp. He was excellent in Finding Neverland, btw, (link) -- not done by Burton -- which I just saw a few days ago. fun: HGC v.4 | last.fm: DT | me | oi! f*ck u roto: ...via meebo!

Big Fish is a really good film. I enjoyed it a lot. Tim Burton is great at creating them failytale scenarios....I didn't bother thinking about it too much though.... Saw Shaun of The Dead last night. Thought it was actually a bit shit,. Very disappointing. fuck signatures

Nah....If not actually 'SHIT', then Shaun Of The Dead was definately 'not as good as I thought it was gonna be'..... that's what I meant. Not that funny at all..... and I do like Simon Pegg and Nick Frost... Big Fish is a nice 'feel-good' film. SOTD is a 'feel-very-let-down' film. fuck signatures

I watched Big Fish some months ago and I really loved it, love the plot, love the photography ,love the colours, and love the soundtrack. I found some similarities with Freaks ( 1932 ) by Tom Browning , but Burton´s movie is much more "soft and tender" IMHO. |
