Is anyone else sick of people wandering around with their noses rammed into that huge tome?

it's everywhere I look - the park, work, the tube - it's not that I disapprove of reading, it's great to see kids really wanting to read, but this kind of scary obsessing is worrying, no matter what it's about. I think half the country must own it by now.

If you don't know what I'm on about then I suggest you take a step outside. A single step. no more no less. rest assured you will encounter a copy, probably as someone charges into you

It appears to have made Waterstones investors happy as-well

If your not from UK I'm not sure if it's out yet, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't.

It is a bit strange - I seem them everyday on the train; grownups from all walks of life with their heads stuck in a kiddies book. they even had to bring adult-cover versions cos people were embarrassed reading them in public.
Still, wish I was the author - what has she earnt from this book so far ? £20million or something.
