all blackberry messages pass through your own BB server but also through a centralised BB server hosted by RIM. no way around this as a corporate. its a serious criticism of blackberries for those corporate who do due diligence. but then a director has usually seen it working on somoene elses BB and just wants one, and diligence goes to the wall.

They can still browse the web, so 3G connectivity through their network is fine, and surely the emails are stored on their works server, or on gmail or something?

In other news, it turns out this late 09 iMac will only accept a very specific type of Seagate (ST31000528ASQ) with a special heat sensor attached (probs costing a bomb). Although there is a model numbered Seagate ST31000528AS going online for £40 which I have a sneaking suspicion may work though a bit of hack maybe involved which is a bit shit really...

Just had a butchers at the Apple refurb store. Looks like whoever sets their pricing has been smoking crack again. 20% off a 2 1/2 year old Macbook Air, 8% off a 1 1/2 year old MBP.

There used to be a website that let you enter a youtube URL then it would give you the option to download said video in multiple formats (audio only too).

Can't remember what it was called. Any ideas?

are you on a mac. you can use safari to download it as a .flv then convert it
