Assuming it's the same case for the random images thread? That was my favorite thread. Did they get angry with all of the photos of pigs that look like dicks?

The Random images thread will make a comeback - it's missing as a result of a "technical issue", not ransom to Goog.

Bollocks to the advertisers, they are wasting their time advertising on this forum anyway. Who the hell goes to the index page? I always go to the new posts URL.

Why does a small forum like this need sponsors anyway? Heart Internet have sorted the hosting, the mods ban the spammers and delete the shite, and Oli has to occasionally turn the server off and on again.

Everyone has to eat. And while I agree this forum doesn't need much in the way of running and that the content that generates the clicks that justifies the advertising rates comes from us unpaid contributors, Oli built the sandbox and let us play in it, if he wants to make some money from it, he's well in his right to do that, if some threads have to go to keep advertisers happy, oh well.

Moderation is few a far between around here and virtually no rules that apply to regulars. Have you read any other web design forums? None of us cunts would last five minutes before the ban hit.

From what I can gather, Heart Internet have that covered, but if they ever had a problem with content, I would happily put money towards hosting than have threads deleted.

Let me defend freelancr for a moment ... my work monitors the web pages I view. If I'm on DT at work, they don't mind, it's a work-related forum.

The problem is, when freelancr wants a wank at work, he can get away with it on DT. Actual porn sites may get him flagged.
